  • 1 cup diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour (for the crumble)
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar (for the crumble)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted, for the crumble)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and sugars. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Fill muffin cups three-quarters full and top generously with crumble mixture.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
