  • 1 loaf Italian sub rolls
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 pound deli-sliced turkey
  • 1/2 pound deli-sliced chicken
  • 1/2 pound deli-sliced provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup banana peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Slice the Italian sub rolls in half lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet cut side up.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4. Brush the seasoned butter on both sides of each roll.
  5. 5. Layer turkey and chicken slices on the bottom half of each roll, followed by provolone cheese and grated Parmesan. Top with roasted red peppers, olives, banana peppers, and fresh basil.
  6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts and bread is slightly crispy.
  7. 7. Allow to cool for a minute before slicing into portions.
