  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh broccoli (as desired)
  • Garlic, butter, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the sliced chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until browned on both sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove chicken from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove from heat.
  4. Melt butter in the skillet, add minced garlic, then stir in heavy cream and whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season to taste.
  5. Combine cooked fettuccine with the sauce along with sautéed chicken, crispy bacon, and steamed broccoli if using. Mix gently over low heat until warmed through.
