  • 1/4 cup table salt
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dry apple vinegar
  • 1/4 cup peach jam
  • 1 jalapeno sliced lengthwise, seeded and deveined
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Coarse ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Brine the beef chops in a mixture of water and salt for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  2. In a saucepan, combine dry apple vinegar, peach jam, jalapeno slices, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
