  • 2 large eggs (for filling)
  • 180 grams butter (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease your cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, water, and milk together until blended.
  3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients while mixing. Melt the butter and incorporate it into the batter.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Repeat with the remaining batter to make two layers.
  5. For the creamy filling, heat milk and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk flour and eggs in another bowl until smooth, then gradually add to the saucepan while stirring until thickened.
  6. Once cooled, assemble by layering one cake layer with half of the filling and topping with the second layer and remaining filling.
