  • 15 oz can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, cubed
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 32 oz beef broth
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup ditalini pasta

Instructions

  2. Transfer the browned beef to a slow cooker.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, thyme, and bay leaves.
  4. Stir in chopped onion, carrots, celery, and both types of beans.

  7. Stir in ditalini pasta during the last 30 minutes of cooking until tender.
