  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • More sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a stand mixer, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add egg whites, then mix in milk and vanilla.
  4. Alternately incorporate the flour mixture and sour cream into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in sprinkles.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared dish and smooth the top. Bake for 35-42 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
  6. For frosting, beat softened butter until smooth, gradually add powdered sugar, then mix in salt, milk, and vanilla until fluffy.
