  • 1 cup beef or chicken stock

  3. Deglaze with red wine, scraping up brown bits; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Return the lamb shanks to the pot along with stock and rosemary; ensure liquid covers half of the shanks.
  5. Cover and braise in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for 2-3 hours until tender.
