  • 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Organic Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon chai spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a medium skillet and transfer to a stand mixer bowl.
  2. Combine sugars, eggs, and vanilla extract with the browned butter; mix until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
  4. Chill the dough for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Form dough into balls and slightly flatten on prepared sheets.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden.
  8. Cool completely before glazing.
