  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly mixed.
  3. In another bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños to create the filling.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a loaf pan. Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom to form a base layer.
  5. Spread the jalapeño cheese mixture over the meat layer evenly and top with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges.
  6. Brush with barbecue sauce and bake for about 1 hour or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
